Steadfix – A New Name In Fixings

At FR Scott, we’ve always taken pride in supplying dependable fixings and ironmongery to tradespeople, manufacturers, and businesses across the UK.

Over the last few years, we’ve seen a growing need for a fixings range that delivers top performance without the premium price tag.

That’s why we developed Steadfix – our own trademarked brand of quality fixings.

We’ve been supplying fixings since 1945, and our procurement team has used our extensive industry contacts to partner with approved manufacturers who meet our strict quality standards.

Our team worked closely with these manufacturers to ensure quality, with samples rigorously tested for performance and durability prior to production.

Every product in the Steadfix range is produced with consistency, reliability, and durability in mind.

The Steadfix Range

Our range quietly launched early 2024 with Self-forming screws, Nuts & Bolts and CE marked Woodscrews.

As part of our soft launch some of our customers trialled Steadfix in real world manufacturing environments. We received excellent feedback from both production teams for their quality, and buying teams for their value.

Over the course of 2024 and 2025 we supplied over 45 million Steadfix fixings to hundreds of the leading engineering , modular and joinery businesses across the UK.

Thousands of DIYers have also used Steadfix fixings – supplied through leading fixings website Fix and Fast

And now, we’re pleased to confirm a major new addition to our range.

 

New Steadfix Stapling and Clips Now Available

 

We have added a full range of stapling and clips to the Steadfix family.

These can be purchased as stand-alone fixings or supplied alongside our tooling range.

This addition gives furniture, upholstery, and bedding manufacturers even more choice and flexibility when sourcing their fixings and fasteners.

 

Whether you need staples, clips, or complete tool-and-fixing packages, Steadfix delivers the same trusted performance our customers already know and value.

As demand grows, we’ll continue to develop and expand the Steadfix range.
