Help Us Make Christmas Special for Local Kids in Need

At FR Scott, we’re proud to support Cash for Kids Mission Christmas—a wonderful campaign that helps bring Christmas joy to children who might otherwise go without.

And we need your help help to ensure every child in our area wakes up to a gift on Christmas Day – regardless of their circumstances.

This year, our trade counter on Canning Street in Hull, is an official Mission Christmas gift drop-off point.

And we are asking all our customers if they can donate a gift.

You can drop off new, unwrapped gifts with us and we’ll make sure they get to Mission Christmas HQ in time to reach children before the big day.

What’s more as a business we’ve also donated £1,000 to the gift fund!

This donation will provide gifts for around 25 children who might otherwise wake up to nothing on Christmas morning.

In addition, we’re sponsoring radio adverts to spread the word about Mission Christmas—you’ll hear these running on Hits Radio (formerly Viking FM) and Greatest Hits Radio throughout November and December.

The Mission Christmas Bus

 

The Mission Christmas Bus always creates a stir when it rolls up at FR Scott and this year is no different!

On Wednesday December 11^th  2024 the Hits Radio Mission Christmas Bus is bringing even more excitement.

Members of Hull KR’s Grand Final squad, Rufus the Robin, and Alex and Nicola from the Hits Radio Breakfast Show will be on board, helping to raise awareness and support, and collecting your gift donations from us.

Last year, the Hits Radio team broadcast their breakfast show live from our trade counter.

Bringing bags of energy, they chatted to our experienced team about the products we supply to construction, engineering and modular business across the region.

And our team spoke of how much this campaign means to us and the local community we serve.

How You Can Help Mission Christmas

This year has been tough for so many people, with the cost of living crisis hitting hard.

That’s why we’re asking for our customers help to make sure every child gets the Christmas they deserve.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Drop off gifts at our trade counter – Bring a new, unwrapped gift for a child or teenager and leave it with us at our Central Hull location.

Request a collection – Can’t get to us? No problem!
Email us at sales@frscott.co.uk, and we’ll send one of our drivers to collect your donation.

As a thank you, if you visit our trade counter, you’ll pick up a free FR Scott thermos mug and a 2025 wall planner or calendar while supplies last.
