FR Scott secures Kanban contract with Premier Modular

FR Scott is proud to announce a significant new partnership with Premier Modular, one of the UK’s leading offsite modular building specialists.

This new long term contract positions FR Scott as the supplier of fixings and fasteners through a managed Kanban to Premier Modular’s manufacturing site in Bransburton, East Yorkshire for a number of years.

In readiness for the start of this new contract our team has already fitted new FR Scott branded black and red racking in key locations across five factories. This ensures Premier Modular can maintain its high standards of efficiency and quality.

FR Scott – Driving Efficiency Through Innovation

At the heart of this partnership is FR Scott’s unique blend of fixings expertise and cutting-edge technology.

Our dedicated team will visit Premier Modular several times a week to manage their stock levels. Using advanced scanning technology, our colleagues will scan every fixings bin, updating quantities in real-time.

Every one of the 600+ fixing bins are uniquely barcoded. Detailing the product, the location and the optimum quantity.

This data will be instantly relayed back to our 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse, ensuring the correct amounts of fixings are picked, packed, and then replenished.

This streamlined process removes any downtime, eliminates stock shortages, and allows Premier Modular to focus on what they do best—delivering exceptional modular building solutions.

Plus – our management information system will give Premier Modular detailed fixing usage down to sku level on a factory by factory basis month on month – and in time – year on year.

We were able to demonstrate the effectiveness of our Kanban solutions through several glowing testimonials from other modular building companies and manufacturing businesses that already use us and benefit from our services.
