Calling All Schools and Young Designers: Enter the ‘BUILD! FR Scott’ Competition!

 

FR Scott is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for young creative minds across Hull and East Yorkshire!

In conjunction with local primary schools we’re looking for budding designers, engineers, and builders to take part in our ‘BUILD! FR Scott’ competition which runs across October Half Term

This is a chance to let imagination run wild and primary pupils to show off their creative skills by reimagining our iconic Canning Street headquarters!

Plus the chance to WIN up to £400 worth of play equipment for your school and a £50 toy gift card for the child with the winning design!

 

What is the ‘BUILD! FR Scott’ Competition

 

We want you to create your own version of the FR Scott headquarters using any materials you have at home.

Whether it’s cereal boxes, Duplo, egg cartons, Lego, shoe boxes, paint, glue, glitter, or even online with Minecraft—there are no limits to what you can use!

This is your chance to bring your ideas and FR Scott to life in a fun and creative way.

 

 

Why should your school get involved in ‘BUILD! FR Scott’

 

Well, for a start you could win up to £400 worth of play equipment of your choice!

But also by giving your pupils a half term creative challenge you can help them develop many important life skills including:

Creativity and Imagination.
Self-Expression.
Confidence and Independence.
Fine Motor Skills.
Problem Solving.
Hand-Eye Coordination.
Social Skills.
Critical Thinking.

Since 1945 FR Scott has a rich heritage in Hull. Consistently supporting our local communities, teams and schools.

This competition is just another way we’re giving back to the areas we’ve served for almost 80 years.

 

How to Enter Build! FR Scott ?

 

Entering the BUILD! FR Scott competition is easy!

Simply design and build your version of our Canning Street headquarters.

Once your masterpiece is complete, snap some photos and send to us at entries@frscott.co.uk

You can also drop it off in person at our trade counter.

Make sure to get your entries in by Tuesday, 5th November!

We’ve got two age categories:

• Group 1: Foundation / Year 1 / Year 2 / Year 3
• Group 2: Year 4 / Year 5 / Year 6

This means you’ll be competing against other children in your age group, giving everyone a fair chance to win.

 

BUILD! FR Scott Prizes

 

From all entries our  team will select the top 5 builds, which will then be put to a public vote across our social media channels. The entry with the most votes will win an incredible prize:

• The winning child will receive a £50 toy gift card!
• The winner’s school/class will receive £200 worth of play equipment! (£400 if the school gets winners in each category!)

 

 

Primary School children : This is a fantastic opportunity for you to showcase your creativity but also win something special for yourself and your classmates.
